Happy 4th of July!

I hope you all had a great 4th of July! I feel so blessed to be living in sunny Manhattan Beach on weekends like this. I was able to spend all day Saturday on the beach with family and friends, and spent all day Sunday on the beach again with more friends. It was very relaxing to enjoy a few days on the beach with my husband and lil girls. Now it’s back in the office and back to work! I’m looking forward to my next upcoming wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel on July 18. Be sure to look out for it. I hope you enjoy the pictures below from our weekend of fun in the sun.

WE Network TV Show!

I hope you are looking forward to the holiday weekend! Things have been crazy, especially with the second audition I had last week with Mystic Art Pictures for their new show on the WE Network. I can’t say the name of the show yet, but it would be such an exciting opportunity! Not only would I be hosting the show, but I would be planning 6 weddings in the next two months….three in Los Angeles and three in other cities. Cross your fingers for me…I hope to hear good news soon!

Wedding in Honor of Kim Schneider and Kevin Doner

I am really excited to share Kim and Kevin’s wedding with you. This beautiful May wedding at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa, Huntington Beach had some really awesome design and décor elements, and Next Exit Photography did a fantastic job capturing all the details. The flowers by Enchanted Florist were so clean and elegant, and really complimented the linens and lighting by Elegant Designs and Level 4 International, respectively. Kim and Kevin, along with their families and bridal party were so fun to work with…they even sent me the sweetest thank you notes! Here is the lovely note Kim wrote me....

"Dear Mary Dann & Co, We just got back from our amazing honeymoon and wanted to thank you for putting on the perfect wedding for us. You all truly did an amazing job and we are so happy that we hired you, we would do it again in a heartbeat...The day and night ran incredibly smoothly and you and your team were on top of everything. I love Constance!...Our suite at the end of the night is really what did it for me. It literally took my breath away!...You really, truly made us feel like royalty. Thanks so much again for all of your hard work in making this our once in a lifetime dream wedding.

Wedding in Honor of Jennifer Zins and Jian Boldi

Words cannot even describe the beauty of Jennifer and Jian’s wedding over Memorial Day Weekend. If you’ve seen my previous posts of Jennifer’s Bridal Shower, and Jennifer and Jian’s Rehearsal Dinner you know that their wedding pictures would be sure not to disappoint. I just got a few from Danny Baker of Epic Imagery and I couldn’t wait to share them with you. If you look closely in the first one you can say a plane with a banner behind giving a “Congratulations” to the happy a couple…a surprise from Jennifer’s Mother, Holly.

This was one of the most elegant weddings I have planned to date and I couldn’t have done it without the help of Trump National Golf Club, The Hidden Garden, Level 4 International, Unique Table Tops, BBJ Linens, DeBois Entertainment, Carving Ice and the FryGirl. I can’t wait to see more of what Epic Imagery and Manifest Videography captured on this magnificent wedding.

Rehearsal Dinner in Honor of Jennifer Zins and Jian Boldi

Wow…what a weekend! I just finished a fabulous three day wedding this Memorial Day Weekend. I just got some pictures from Jennifer’s Rehearsal Dinner at The Aquarium of the Pacific and I cannot wait to see the pictures from the wedding and day after brunch. Epic Imagery did a fabulous job as always, as you might remember seeing Danny’s images from her Bridal Shower in January. It was also a treat to work with Nisie from Enchanted Florist and James from Manifest Video. I hope you enjoy these images from the rehearsal dinner….the wedding pictures are going to be a real treat!

Your Wedding Day Magazine Party

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending The YWD magazine party at the Wilshire Ebell Club of Los Angeles. An exceptional party with well over 500 industry professionals from all over Southern California. I have the best time with all the professional/friends I work with especially Cathryn (Van Breene) and Asgeir (Bollason)… It seems that every room in the Ebell was filled with a different vibe, food and friends…I had to cut it short to get home to read to my 3 year old before she went off into princess-dream land…

Easter Weekend at La Costa!

I just spent a fabulous Easter weekend at La Costa Resort and Spa with my family. George Allen, Director of Sales, was so kind and took great care of us while we stayed at this amazing resort. It is so perfect for a destination wedding. The weather was gorgeous and my two girls, couldn’t get enough of their gorgeous pools and water slides! In addition to my exceptional visit to La Costa Resort, I had the privilege of a photo shoot with Paul Barnett and his assistant Dean. They took some beautiful shots of my husband and children. La Costa is so great for families and I love spending time down there. Here are a few pictures from our mini-vacay!
